FPV Combat System

NGHobbies is selling an interesting FPV Combat System which allows you to engage in actual dogfights. Each plane needs to be fitted with such a system, which includes an infrared “cannon”, an infrared hit sensor, and a light module that displays hits and firing effects. Price is USD $100.-

An advanced set for USD $125.- adds an effect module which wobbles a servo channel when hit, allowing for more dramatic “weapon impacts”. And finally, the USD $161.- deluxe set adds a stationary target module which can be mounted on a pole or similar, to have planes try and hit it.

Check out the demo video below for someĀ  dogfighting action. The hit indicator lights are surprisingly visible, and the whole system sounds like a lot of fun.
